Did my own today to see!!!!!!!! Cost too much to get prebuilt boards sent down here so I got me 4 ea, 2x6x12 treated only needed 3 32.00. Then ripped about 7/8 inch off them then they taper at front down to about 2×4. Had precut carpet kit from parts 75.00 i think and then used pieces for the first layer (bcb has a layer glued to top, then anther layer glued all the way around and stapled on bottom, 1 can carpet glue 38.00 , then 28 each stainless 3/8 lag bolts with flat and lock washers about 85.00 and 6 hours labor to build them, get the boat up and change them.230.00 in materials alone so it is not a cheap project
