Guys, how big of a deal is it to order a passenger-side console (on 04 mdels and newer) from BCB and install yourself? It could surley save me some money, and I got a buddy next door who is great with things like this. Hes worked on lots of boats. Im buying a 04 classic and am going to add the console, tell me I can do it myself! thanks

You can do it yourself. If you are hands on like you sound like you are, then you can do it. BCB service will give you all the installation instructions needed. Good Luck, Brian Hash

Toadstroker, I am assuming thi model comes with the available console as I make this statement. If so, you and your friend can do it with no problem. My dealer installed mine on a new boat order and I watched the entire process. Just take your time, follow the BCB instructions, measure three times, drill or cut once and you should be fine.

Its no problem at all. I bought one for my 07 PII and installed it all by myself.. The front sets on a small ledge and bolts to it. The side bolts straight to the sidewall of the boat. The hardest part was making sure you got the console the at the right anlge so it matched the drivers. This was not actually physically hard, just really need to take your time bolting it to the sidewall to make sure you get this angle right. Really is simple to do, just take your time.
