I finally got around to pulling out the bench seat out of my Cougar and putting in the BCB bucket seats . Wow what a difference , they sat in the garage for a couple of weeks before I finally got around to installing them and had thought about how to do the change many times . I actually spent more time contemplating how , than it took to make the change . I will say that you sit a lot higher in the boat with the buckets and it might take some getting use to but the comfort difference is incredible . I may have to adjust the hot foot a bit but Ill give it a while to get used to before I make that change . Thanks to BCB for making the retro fit so easy and the quality of the seats is great as you would expect . One question I have , if BCB sees this , the old seats had small angle braces on the back of the seats to the back deck . I didnt see a need to use the same braces on the backs of the buckets , they seem to be plenty solid without them but I thought I would ask if you reccomend using them or not ?
