Best long-sleeve shirt for heat summer days???

I use the Nike dry fit long sleeve shirt in the summer and works really well. I wear white only and it seems to wick moisture away and I dont get sun burn. There are also similar materials from Under Armor, Reebok and so on. I think anything that is white and or tan in color will work.

I still wear short sleeves…but Id get the Columbia Bahama II shirt. I wear the short sleeve style of that same shirt. They are by far the coolest shirts you can wear (not cool like wow, but cool like temperature ) Kind of pricey to me, about $35 but worth the money. The long sleeve style might be a bit more expensive but not much.

I have been wearing long sleeve cotton T shirts in light grey color for years. They are cooler than having the sun bake on your bare skin. The ones I am currently using are Fruit Of The Loom and I stock up when I find them on sale usually about $6 apiece. If I need to I can wear a short sleeve club or Federation shirt over the T shirt and stay comfortable. 25 years ago some people laughed at my long sleeve shirts in the summer not so much now. ….Are all in my closet, and they are good shirts, and all are expensive—I own them thanks to very generous family. Not much difference in the wicking/cooling qualities of the three. Any of them are far better to me than anything with cotton in it. The UnderArmor CoolGear long and shortsleeve shirts are also great. Ill wear the short sleeve under one of the long sleeve, and it does well.Mike Whitten

Ive got a few different ones from Columbia. I have to say theres one of them I prefer the most for hot summer days.I dont know the model name of it, but the fabric is 100% polyester instead of nylon. It is definitely thinner weight material than my 100% nylon shirts, and the fabric closely resembles the feel of the Under Armour.Im a warm-natured person, and unfortunately have a lot of skin cancer in the family, so Ive always lathered up in SPF1,000,000 and threw on a short sleeve shirt…until I made the switch two years ago.I always felt like lathering up in SPF5000 kept me from sweating efficiently, but now I feel cooler with no sunscreen but a long sleeve shirt.
