BassCat: The black rubber footpad on the passenger side just below the passenger side front rod locker is sticking poorly and looks bad from the black colored glue residue. I am thinking of either removing it completely and just waxing that part of the boat (white in color) or trying to find an adhesive that will work. Do you have any recommendations? I think the sun is heating the adhesive until it becomes soft and the black pad then slides toward the floor. Also, is it advisable to glue a rubber pad or sticker on the fiberglass behind the passenger running rod rack? I asked my partner this weekend not to allow his reels to hit the fiberglass while in the running rod rack, but he did and placed a few marks on the fiberglass. In fairness to him, it seems that the reels will always hit the fiberglass if a partner brings four or five rods. I am pretty anal about my boats, and I bet you are going to tell me just not to worry about it, but you and I both know that I will worry about it. I bet it would be difficult to get a small piece of rubber to stick on that smooth fiberglass behind the passenger running rod rack. Do you have any suggestions? I really like the boat. I am taking it to Cliff on Monday to take care of a couple slight issues that need to be corrected. Thank you for building me such a great boat. Corky
