I was fishing a tournament today and it ended 3 hours early . Trolling motor quit. It was a very windy day .2003 Bass Cat SabreMotor Guide FW-FB 71 lb thrust.I checked all the fuses and they were all good. Is there a reset panel somewhere? I cant seem to find oneAlso what are the little gray box like things between the two positives on the trolling motor batteries? Do these go bad? It does have a continuous on switch. it does not work . any help would be appreciated.

Those are the circuit breakers and they have reset tabs on the end of each breaker.

Thanks BCB. I reset the the circuit breaker on one of the batteries and everything works good now. Thanks for the quick response.

That breaker may have internal corrosion that caused it to trip. If it continues to trip then just replace it. Odds are you were on high and that breaker is probably. 40 Amp, which we would replace with a 50 Amp breaker as your trolling motor is probably aged and may require more amps on high also.

sounds good . I guess i will call parts monday . I will go ahead and replace the one on the cranking battery as well. What amp is that one? Also The wind took me into the dock and i scratched my cap a little. Can i buy touch up paint for this? My boat number is BASU2210C303. Its a really nice looking red sparkle. I just want to touch it up a little. Thanks BCB
