We had a very tough but rewarding weekend. We (Stray bullet and I) scouted all afternoon Friday and all day (7am to 7pm) Saturday for the Media team tournament and the only thing we could put together was nothing! We caught 4 fish in 2 days, and they were all 20 miles apart. Sunday rolls around and we decide to just clear our head, put it down and go fishing. Stray Bullett catches a 3 pounder on a frog right off the bat and that was more than we expected. An hour amd a half later we still only have one fish! We leave at 8:15 and travel 35 miles to our “next spot” We finally grind out a limit at 2pm (moral victory) we have a 50+ mile trip back so after understanding how tough it was we left and headed back. 56 boats fished and there was only 5 limits caught. We had about 10 minutes left to check in so we decided to stop in front of the landing canal and make a few hail mary casts and we catch a lucky 2 pounder that culled a 1.42. After it was all over with we won the tournament and by only a 4 ounces.I guess Ike said it best “Never Give Up” Last edited by happyhour on April 13th, 2010, 2:33 am, edited 2 times in total.
