No, only on the digital dash units from 93 up. BCB

I have a 91 PII and I read somewhere on here about holding in the mode button to display the engine hrs, my question is does this work for a 1991? I held it in for at least a minute with no luck . thnx mark

If the boat is Smartcraft equipped it has an hour meter, if not any Mercury tech. can plug up to the engine and read the hours. Smartcraft is the only “gauge” which Merc uses to display engine hours that i know of, but im no expert !

There are hour meters that will work outside of smartcraft. A mercury dealer should be able to help you out.

Yes, though a Smart Craft mini gauge would give you the true hours on the engine now, plus those you continue to accrue.

The 200 Opti engine has hour memory any dealership can easily read in a few minutes with a DDT.
