Thanks all for the thoughts, my son-in-law has made 3 tours as a Ranger and has since gone through sniper school and recon school, while they have a baby due in august…These young men are for real.. Please dont let politics as presented by the main-stream media sway your opinion of what this means to these young men and what it means to all of us. Thanks to all the vets like my dad, uncle, and others.. Please remember our troops this weekend… God bless those that protect us and those that have saved us……………. Bruce
I am a veteran, and I thank Bass Cat for remembering those who are now serving and those that died in service to our country. I also express my sincerest gratitude to all service members as we remember on this Memorial Day weekend. Corky

Jim, That is such a true quote. Thanks to all who have, do, and will serve to protect our country. For me, It was an Honor to Serve and it was a time I will always look upon fondly. I hope all get to enjoy this special holiday. Chris Coupel Paulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said…”If you can read this thank a teacher..If you can read it in English…Thank a Veteran.” That is very true. Thanks to all that helps to keep us all free.-Jason
I hope everyone had a flag out yesterday. If not buy one!

Today is such a sad day for so many families. So many sons, daughters, fathers, mothers lost and it just seems so crazy how many lives over the years have been lost. I had a friend killed in a T-38 training accident, one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Ive been thinking about him all day. I cant imagine what his parents must go through but they know he was an outstanding man, a real hero.
Coming from a combat vet, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your displays of appreciation not just on holidays, but every day. It means a lot to those of us who have served and to the families that have lost loved ones to know our sacrifice was not in vain. While we in no way expect it as we were just doing the job we chose to do, it is nice to be appreciated.Dont forget to shake the hand of our police and first responders also. Maybe buy their coffee or lunch when you see them in line at a gas station or restaurant.Thank you and may God Bless our BCB family and our Country.
Memorial Day is an occasion today thank you to those who served in our branches of military and government, without selfishness, to protect our freedoms. It began as a day, in the 1800s, and eventually to honor those lost on either side from our Civil War. It has become a remembrance to many of all others passed before us, and will see many families traveling hundreds of miles for those resting place visits. my grandparents, on my mothers side, loyally made special trips to cemeteries all across Oklahoma and Arkansas to visit relatives sites. We wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day and we hope you say thank you to the families of those remaining on this special day. This one is a touching Memorial Day for many, and for us we have several special reasons. Though one of those we remember is an impression left to go beyond this year. On this Memorial Day we have a special prayer for the family of an unnamed young soldier this year. His dream abroad was to return home to the USA and complete a transaction with one of our dealers. He was “short stick” and in those final days abroad he was enthusiastic on fulfilling a fishing passion and enjoying it when he got home. Unfortunately that passion gained a different spiritual tier of engagement and was to never physically materialize and we will say a special prayer for that family grieving this weekend. We hope hes catching one every cast now. Good Bless the USA! RickLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on May 26th, 2017, 1:35 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Thanks Rick, Ill say a prayer for that special family who gave the ultimate sacrifice. While many of us are celebrating and enjoying this holiday weekend many families are grieving and suffering their loss. Everyone enjoy their weekend and remember what its really all about.
