I dont have my manual with me, but on the 987 you need to load an SD card into the slot (not the one the nav card goes into) and go in to your menu area and find the “activate screenshots” button. You may have to hunt around in either the menu or setup area, off the top of my head I dont recall which it is. From then on each time you mark something it will save the image. Mike

mike dominick has the directions close enough to get it right, it requires a second SD card with nothing on it, and you may have to format the card. BCB

Hello all. 1. Will replacement of trim sender for smart craft be covered under an extended warranty. 2. Can anyone tell how to take screen shots and down load them to a sd card. I have a humminbird 987si. Thanks for any help.

Why dont you have the Plastic Clips for your fenders? Id call your Dealer and get those clips, I bet they Stole them and sold them On EBAY!!!! Dude Trim off those stupid straps, they are useless, use the nose one, 2 on the rear, 1 on each middle and trim off the rest. Clean it with a car wash pressue washer with soap, rinse good and while on the boat dry off with clean towels, then use a GOOD vinyl protectant like Mothers, 303 is best, etc……Are you cleanin it up for Re-Sale? Brannon

I know, you cant trust those dealers HOMan!!! They promise you the world and then it all changes after you get your boat. HAHAHAYeah you get me 33 for my boat and you can place that order for that 2011 Eyra with that Etec2 on the back end.

The dealer or Deans. I got mine directly from Deans, and love them. Be sure and leave a few inches of extra webbing, and BE SURE your cover is on correctly before you mount them. HOMan is right on point about cleaning the cover.

Ive already put at least 15 hours or so on mine in 2010 and have another tournament tomorrow. Personally If I were going to tow with a cover Id buy a big roll of that plastic wrap and run it around anywhere the cover may touch the boat. I cant count how many times Ive had a cover dull the gel from a flapping cover or strap over the years. Its just easier to clean it when I get back and cover when you are there IMO. I prefer pics of hotties on the lake, nature scenes, or big bass.

Its just dirty from storage. I never trailer with it on. I cant show off my contrasting consoles if I keep my cover on.

make sure you are using distilled water.. not tap water..I would be throwing traps, chatterbaits, and swim baits in the grass…Mo
