lights?

I have 05 classic and just noticed the lights on the boat dont work. I talking about the one on the driver console and the one up by the big storage box. Can someone till me were to start the trouble shooting for this. Is it a common problem? The lights swivel so I was thinking a bad connection but not on both, so…… Thanks for any help.

These lights are prone to corrode. I would pull the lights out and clean the connections first before trying any thing else. Glynn

It is corrosion on the pivot wheels that activate the lights. These act as a switch and are bronze, thus the water and minerals get corroded from minimum voltage passing through the contacts.
