Topic: 08 Pantera Classic trailer bunk alignment question

I just picked up my Cat a week ago and I am very happy to be part of the family. I love everything about the boat, but I have noticed my boat sits more to one side of the trailer to the point where the side of the hull is touching the carpet on the wheel fender, there is a good 2.5″-3″ gap on the opposite side. I noticed this when I got the boat home from the dealer, but thought that after I had it in the water I could even it out on the trailer. Nearest dealer is too far to drive…does anyone have any suggestions? I am not sure if I should worry about it.

Drop an image of your trailer on the bunks from rear, left and right sides. Those three shots need to go to [email protected] and let us see what you have. The bunks are set on welded jigger uprights and we ate hard pressed to think it goes through trailers, loading, rigging and loaded for delivery with those hands not seeing a major issue. Though let us take a look? Is it possible that you are offcenter? BCB

The spacing on the drivers side is about 1″ from the center of the fender carpet (I can slide hand in between) and on the other side it is definitely touching with no gap. The boat is slightly off center when looking at the bunks, there is a 1/2″ or more before the bunk touches the edge of the strake on the drivers side with the gap….none on the other. It is just slightly off center. Thanks for the quick response, I will email the pictures over tomorrow.
