After eight plus months of looking, I have finally found my new (to me) Cat. 08 PIV – 200 Opti. This is bitter sweet for me because half the fun of searching is the daily enjoyment and excitement of reading this forum. Morning ritual: Get coffee, turn on computer, go to BassCat Forum, look at all the new listings. Gets your day started of right just seeing all the sharp looking rigs, havent seen a bad color scheme yet. This is my 2nd Cat, first one was a 95 PII. Im purchasing it from a super guy in Alabama who has a new Cougar. He is having his local BassCat dealer order and install second console. Should be ready in a couple of weeks, I caint wait to see this boat in person!! The rig comes with a new (never used) Deans custom cover. I would like to sell this cover so I can buy a new one that fits a dual console. If anyone needs a PIV single console cover in black with red BCB logos that fits motor guide TE-82, please give me a call.Looking forward to becoming part of the family.Richard979-220-1475

Congratulations on the new PIV! Make sure you post pics of the new ride when you get it! I would suggest on posting the cover for sale in the boats for sale section?

Give Deans a call, They might be able to make your cover fit for a dual console. They are also great people to work with.

Congrats on your new Cat!! As BCB said, its not bittersweet at all. Although I know what you mean. While my search for a dealer who had a boat I wanted and who would take my Baycat as a trade in, was somewhat frustrating for a while, it was also an adventure of sorts. But every morning, I get my coffee and head to this forum to see whats been going on! Ive learned a lot by asking questions here and by reading the questions and concerns of other members of the Family.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Ill post pics. as soon as I get the baby home to Texas. Am looking forward to fishing this summer in a BassCat!!Now the morning ritual will be get coffee and go fishing — or get coffee and call up the forum like BCB and billius said. Nothing wrong with that.miller0303, I dont know if the cover will fit your Classic but will try to find out and send you a PM.Basscatp4, talked to Deans about cover modification and we decided the cost was close to buying new cover. You are right they are super friendly and were a pleasure to talk with.Richard
