Need some Info I have a 2006 Puma Serial # BAS661H506. I’m in the process of up grading my electronics. I have a LCX-26-C in dash and an X103 up front just received a new HD8. I would like to move the 26 up front and install the HD8 on Ram mount next to console and network them together. Need to know how the cat was wired and has this been done. Does anyone has a drawing of how to wire the system.

The HDS8 should have a schematic in there to network the units. The wires on the present units can be traced to their origin easily. We are not sure on the mounting as we think you type a bit wrong, though read it to yourself and let us know what you are after. The HDS on a RAM where? Move the unit to the front and put the HDS on a RAM next to what? BCB

Im going to install HD 8 on a ram mount next to console. I will mount the ball just under the cleat. I just dont understand how to network the two units together

There are two ways to network the units, ethernet or through the NMEA series of cabling and terminators on a serial bus line. The instructions should be in the Owners Manual and installation guides. You will have to turn on the NMEA button inside the units. BCB

Thanks for the Info I think I got it now just need to expand my NMEA cable to the bow to run the LCX-26-C with the right network expansion cable..Thanks again

Hey Big Red,Do you have a picture of how this instalation turned out? I am interested to see how a ram mount next to the console looks…. I am looking doing something similar.Thanks!

Not yet still dont have the Ram Mount. I needed a long arm it has been on order for 4 weeks no word on delivery date.. I will post picture when installed.
