Is it possible to buy one pair of Go Jacks for a dual axle trailer? Put one of them on the front axle of one side and the rear axle of the other side and raise all four tires off the ground? I need to be able to push the boat sideways about 2ft.Thanks,Scott

Yes: Use one jack on each side (same axle) if all wheels dont clear use trailer tongue jack to raise or lower the other axle as needed. If trailer has single axle brakes put go-jack on that axle. Works fine for me. PM me if you need more info. Hope this helps. Mackey

No. You cant get all four off the ground with 2 jacks to move it sideways, laterally. That takes 4 jacks. The way the springs and axles work if you jack one side up it forces the opposite side down. Now, I agree with Mackey that 2 jacks will make it move like a single axle trailer but I think he misunderstood what you were asking to do.Judd Lasiter

Judd, On the newer trailers you probably can get all four off the ground. The TorQflex axles are stiff. So the theory will probably work fine on the newer non spring models, though not the spring models. Man we miss springs…

Thanks Guys. My plan is to visit Harbour Freight in the morning and pick up a pair and see how it works with just two. I have a beautiful Cougar FTD sitting sideways in my garage. My wife says if I can get it in straight I can keep it. Step 1 – Harbour Freight to purchase Go Jacks. Step 2 – Cut hole in drywall in the back of my garage. Step 3 – Close the garage door and pray. My best guess is that I should have about an inch to spare. Step 4- Return to Dupo Marine to sign on the dotted line.

Sorry for late post 4aPiv,been out of town a few days. Just checked to be sure. One jack each side on front axle rear tire clears appox 1/2″. Mine is an 07 Sabre duel axle, with springs, brakes on rear axle not a P4 this may make a difference ???? .Lowering trailer tongue raises rear tire a little more. Also I move mine from asphalt drive to concrete garage floor and I doubt you could push side ways on the asphalt on concrete you will be fine. Good luck Mackey
