I plan to go to LOZ – Coffman Ramp in Gravois Arm area for bass fishing. Any suggestion on best lures, depth of water, what kind of structure, etc would be appreciated. Thanks!
Do you have a green wiggle wart?I always do real good on crappie second week of April.I will be fishing for slabs in the state park 10 thru 13.To much fun. Cant pass it up.Ill probably toss a green wart a few times too.
I haven’t been on LOZ for a month, but looking at my old fashion purple lilacs, I would bet money on pre-spawn. When my lilacs bloom fish are on the nest and yellow mushrooms are a poppin…
Gravois is a lot clearer water than the area I fish. Start shallow and fish your way out. We are catching big females on red and shad colored lipless crankbaits on a lake close to home. Should work in the Gravois arm too I would think. Pay attention to other boats parked out in open water. They are on baited sunken structure. When they move off go see what it is with your depth finder and mark the gps position.
