Trailer equalizer flip follow up

Last night a buddy and I tried to follow your direction to flip my spring back on top of my equalizer. WOW! We couldnt get it done. We jacked up the front tire at the point where the equalizer meets the spring, all the way to where the spring touched the frame. At that point, it sure looked like you just needed to apply pressure to the equalizer / spring connect on the rear axle and “pop” it up. Not so easy. He took another hydaulic jack and jack against that (in place of a pry bar) and all it would do is lift the entire trailer / boat up. Both of us even bounced on the back of the boat to try and get it to flip, but no luck. Whats your suggestion? Maybe take it to a shop to see if they can do it by possible removing the spring to trailer connection? THANKS! Chuck
