Bow mount lowrance

Hey Guys.2013 Bass Cat Sabre FTD I bought my boat with 2 humminbird 592 and Im looking to mount 2 Elite 7 HDI. What im wondering is where are the transducers mounted and what is the best way to mount the new transducers? I want it to look clean and neat as possible.

Bow mount one should be on bottom of trolling motor. The console one is probably epoxyd to hull in bilge area. And thats where Id put the new ones too. 13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

I would not recommend epoxying the new elite 7HDI transducer in hull, it will not have a picture for the down imaging. There is 2 crystals in the HDI transducer one for 2D and one for down imaging and mounting in hull will hurt the performance. I have my HDI trans mounted external it is a little high on the hull so it comes out of the water when on plane but it keeps me from knocking it off when I get in skinny water. Just find the best spot on of the back of hull to get good readings. I will post pics of mine when I get a chance. As for the front transducer I would put it on the bottom of the trolling motor with either the transducer shield and saver mount or use the mount provided.Wil

I believe, unless specified to be on the trolling motor when ordered, the front transducer is likely epoxied to the inside of the hull as well. If you have a keel guard it would be located just past where the guard ends. How does that look with the wire on the tm? Its a brand new boat so Im nervous to alter anything, because right now it looks to clean and uncluttered

Here is the pictures of how mine is done on my transom. Which trolling motor do you have? I will explain how to route your transducer wire along it.Here is a shot before my power-pole which is easier to see. The wire holder came with Elite 7HDI mounting hardware and the pervious owner already had another transducer mounted this way so I did the same for my elite 7 and I havent had any issues.

I have the Motor Guide Freshwater 75# thrust. Looks good!

I would recommend running the wire along the TM top arm and then run it down the shaft to the bottom of the TM. When you go across from the top arm to shaft make sure to leave a little slack, also when you get to the mid section of the shaft leave slack in the wire for the rotation of the lower part of the TM.Im sorry I currently dont have a front depth finder so Im unable to show pics to make all of that above make sense. Im buying another elite 7 for the front soon.
