my Structure Scan has arrived

The first of my 2 structure scan units is here, Im going to run this one up on the trolling motor and but the box in the drivers side rod compartment. My boat is away getting a Hanbys installed so I cant go out and look in the boat, what is the best way to run the lines up to the front? (PIV) Can I access the rigging tube through that rod box? Thanks for any advice. MikeP.S. I reduced my NIB 26P Fury over in the props section to $425 shipped to help pay for this. Mike

Just went through the same exercise with a hummingird 998 and my PIV. First pulled cables via the removed vent. Then started snagging cable between the raceway and the inside part of the boat. Have a look with a light and you will see what I mean. Remove the GPS puck and it is almost a straight shot. Be sure to tape the ends of the connector so that they are rounded and there are no sharp edges to catch. If you snag, you can sometimes reverse the pull and go again. have fun; I am missing several inches of skin on both handsjwt
