hole under console

what is the purpose for the hole under the drivers console that goes toward the front of the boat? its not quite big enough for a net. oh, on a 94 p2

Slide your cushion under there and that space was below the elevated tackle shelf on the right side.

been trying to put a net in there all weekend. BTW, thanks for the trick on the leaky rod box. it was leaking around the rivits holding the striker plate for the latch. a little silicone and seems fine now
