What is the proper ball height on a torsion 2 axle trailer? Just bought a new F350 need a new hitch.
I believe it is 19-20 inches at the top of the ball while unloaded.Jay
Ive been told 18″…but the main thing is that your rig sits level.
We like 20″ to the ball top.
Well 20″ it is. Need at least a 5″ drop. the old truck was a 2″. A shopping I will go.
I was told 18 by BCB a while back when my trailer was scraping the exit of my driveway.
Mine is just under 20 inches….seems to work fine. My old truck was around 18 inches and that seemed fine too.
Mine is 21 inches is that going to hurt it some how? I have not checked the level of the trailer yet
It might allow your frame to drag on some road exits to driveways.
