Hey guys. I just bought a new 30 lb Minnkota Endura hand control trolling motor for a small jon boat. The motor is designed as a transom mount, but I was wondering if I might could turn the head or foot around to make it a bow mount. Does anybody know if this is possible, and how to do it. Thanks. I believe you can turn the head around if you want to. Have done it on some of the older models myself. Not sure how they mount the head on the one you got but sure is worth a try. Take the screw out from under the head that runs through the shaft. Should be pretty easy and just spin the head 180 kind of slow. Is nothing in the shaft but wires coming from the foot and they should have enough slack to do this. Take Care and Good Luck JW

If you do twist it in a vice and turn the motor head on the shaft, then reseal it to prevent leakage.

Easy I have done this for all my tin boats (3) just remove the screw just under the head and turn it 180 degrees put the screw back in
