Exposed fiber glass

I hit a rock and have about 8 inches long by 1/2 inch wide of fiber glass showing, its on the edge of the pad near the back, I know I need to repair soon but is it a bad thing to go fish for 1 more day, would like to finish my tournament. Any advice appreciated.Thx

One day shouldnt hurt it. Though high speed runs are the corrupter of fiberglass.
