On a 2008 Puma is the front butt seat pole a twist in or a slide in??? My hydraulics is busted and get pole out.. The back pole just slides in. Ive tried twisting the front even with a pipe wrench. Hydraulics has probably been busted for awhile by the looks of it.. The seat itself just slides out Im talking about the pole going into the deck

Use a pipe wrench to turn and pull up on the pole as you twist it.

Thats the best suggestion as the gas cylinder post is broken anyway.

If the set is off the post then try having someone hit the top of the pole with a hammer while you twist the pole with the big pipe wrench. The vibration of the hammer tends to brake free the bond of the debris holding the pole from moving. Good luckPractice Angling CPRCatchPictureRelease2010 PIV 200SHO

After you get the post out- chase the hole with 3/4 in drill bit
