Flowrite Battery Fill System

Installed one today on the 3 batterys and it works like a charm.Sure beats having to pull the batteries out to fill them,tried basters and mirrors just didnt work.If you have wet cell batteries its worth the money to get one from Bass Pro,now my back wont take a beating lifting them bad boys out anymore.

Onebigfish,I been using them for my last two boats and couldnt agree more. Battery maintenance is now clean and painless. I usually refill every other month. I cant believe these are not more popular.

What is it? Is it like a resovoir that hooks in through the caps?

Qwik-Fill by FlowRite is a battery watering system. You replace the battery caps on your Marine Grade batteries with the Qwik-Fill caps. Each QF cap is linked to each cell on each battery in a 24v system with a water tube. At the end of the QF Cap chain is a quick connect. Connect that quick connect to the Hand pump/bulb hose (much like hand bulb on your two stroke motors). The the end of the hand pump hose goes into a gallon of distilled water. Squeeze the hand pump bulb and it will pump the D/water through the batteries via the QF Caps. When the bulb is hard it means the batteries are full. Your done with no mess. Disconnect the Quick connects, Put the the hose tethered cap on the QC and your done.

A question–I have never had any problem with access to my battery caps. I can easily get to them, take them off, refill with a gallon of distilled water, and a bulb filler from Autozone. I sure dont need to take them out of the boat to check/refill. What am I missing here–Why would I need this system?Thanks,Mike Whitten

I understand the concept but it sure is expensive. not sure if it is worth that much money for a little piece of plastic and some tube.

Mike you have a much steadier hand then me. Using the Qwik-Fill system its fast, painless and very efficient. Worth every penny to me. Open the battery box lid, connect the batterys quick connect hoses, hand pump 3-5 times from your gallon of distilled water with no over spillage and your done. Takes less then 15-30 seconds.

The good thing is you cant overfill cause it has the floating pistons under the cap. You do not want to go above the plates but so much,,if you are still a young buck then you can manuver in that small area and lift.This system is good for us old farts.

Or just buy mantience free batteries and never have to worry about filling your batteries with water again. Lol
