Ward isnt allowed that far from home ! Hes been working alot lately, and weve not been fishing enough, but will soon remedy that, but no Texas trip in the near future for us,,,too many irons in the fire, and not enough $$$$ ! Must make hay while………well, you get it, season is beginning soon for my business, and spring is here, so lets get r done !

New rig June or July Bob depending on when I can pry that boat out of Chads hands in California! Every time he calls I hear a new story about performance and fishing that make me jealous- He finished 7th inthe Stren at Clear Lake and took a check last week at Oroville as well. The more he gets on a roll the harder itll be to get it from him! Some poor soul in another boat from Flippin at the Clear Lake Stren event reluctantly fessed up to a friend that he had never had someone blast his doors off like Chad did in that 250HO. A month or so ago he said he was “just cruising aroung at 5000 rpms and then looked over at the GPS to see 74-75. Yikes. I cant wait!C.O.D. Jr. III

brewcat, no Ken, I do not need a new one. Very happy with the one I have.Did leave a few bucks in Vegas to help out their economy a little. Some dealer may be able to buy a hot dog and coffee. Plan on going to Falcon on Sat. so hope the fish have decided to do something normal for a change. Are you about ready for your “T” on Choke.? I heard they were on there since the cold front left. pant 2, bob, choke was 2 weekends ago. you missed it. 20 + mph winds… 4 – 5 ft rollers. was coming back to weigh in johns big bass and came across 8 (sólo hablan espańol) that were in a 14 foot p.o.s. old boat taking on water big time from the waves…. got the 4 kids out (youngest being 4???) and brought them to the south shore boat landing. I got some funny looks when we got to the dock with all these kids in the p4. some guy went up to the warden shack and tell him there was a boat getting pushed north fast with 4 adults on it. warden was out there pretty quick and got them back to shore. had a good time though… i caught several keepers, but just not the big prego momma i was after. they have been catching several 12 – 13 – – 15 lbrs there the last two weeks.falcon? saturday??? mmmmmmmm…….. i just may be interested. driving to mcallen thursday and then will be in corpus friday, i will be back at the house friday later afternoon. do you need a boat anchor this weekend?? lol

Thanks Joey. Luck appears to count huh? First day I shook fish off one or two since we both had limits by 10:30. Offered to shake off a good one late on Friday that was swimming off with a paca. Tony told me to “catch the dern thing”. Had I shook it off I woulda lost- it culled a 14″ KY.C.O.D. Jr. III

All his girls came out for weigh-in, and we had fun with them , my granddaughter, and granddog, came out with two of our boys, one d.i.l., and my wife,,,,,,good crowd for Wards win ! The bar has been raised for the Red River event,,,,,,,One local was heard talking about how hes gonna “dominate” the rest of us down there. Poor guy,,,,,,,,he has no idea what hes in for down there with those Texas and Louisiana boys, were the least of his concerns. p.s., he got s.h. lucky and won this weekend,,,,,,,,i hope he enjoys it. D.
