They look ugly, but they work. Family member put one on his bass boat and can now pull a water skier at 20mph with the boat up on plane. There have been rumors about issues with fishing in river current and letting the thing hit a stump or boat dock hard enough to damage the cavitation plate. But Ive never seen it happen. Did I mention that they are ugly? And for the record, those that do not look ugly dont work as well.
