You guys that run or that have been in both the sabre and pantera classic. Is there a difference behind the cockpit with a hotfoot in leg room length. I am 6″3 trying to decide between the two. Thanks, Chris

I can speak to the Pantera….. Im 61″ and the hotfoot is tight for me. Ive got used to it but extra leg room is one of the things I miss about my 95 Eyra. For some reason it had a lot more leg room, probably because it didnt have the driver side rod box.Jason Ferbrache – Edmond, OK 1995 Basscat Eyra

07 Sabre FTD with a Hotfoot. Im 60″. Perfect fit. Can sit back in the seat and fully depress the pedal without overextending my leg. Ive driven a friends Pantera Classic. Looked and felt to be about the same fit. Maybe a couple inches longer reach. I suppose you could have a slider installed on the Hotfoot for some adjustment capability.

CP , if you fish water where it can get rough , there is NO substitute for length , IMHO . — Ive been in both boats in rough water on Bull Shoals here in Arkansas , and although the Sabre handles it remarkably well for its size , I prefer , and currently own , a Pantera Classic . — Hoss

Thanks Fellas. Hoss my main body is Ross Barnett so speaking of rough water ride might just have to be the decision. Im coming out of a 98 jaguar wanting to down grade and fuel economy

I own a 99 sabre without a hotfoot. There is now way I would run one with a hot foot, too crammed at 65″. Its pretty tight, but manageable without the HF.

CP , youre just going to have to slow down a bit when it gets rough . — As for legroom , Im 68″ tall , and I can stretch my legs out under the console of my Classic , but Im touching the front wall with my feet . — ( Thats how I hold onto my hat . — Hang it over my toes and hold it down ) — No hotfoot for me either , but thats just a personal preference . — I just dont need to drive it that hard anymore . — Must be gettin old or something . — Hoss
