Ultrex ultrex set up on 2009 puma

Is there a problem to bolt down the trolling motor as seen in the pics? If I put straight back like the stick one the head blocks the opening for the rod locker. Even if I move the motor down in the mount as far as it will go.

Remove the side cover plates and the hidden holes will align with the MotorGuide bolt pattern. Thats our suggestion.

Thx. The only issue would be interference with the rodlocker door. Is that something you just live with? Its only the 45″. Do I use the anti bounce kickstand to raise it up some to help with clearance?

Ive found that the lid opening only part way isnt as annoying as I thought. Its still plenty easy to reach in there and get a rod out, just have to hold the lid like the good old days before they shocks on the lids. Also, if I need to get the lid completely open, then I partially deploy the tm and put it back when Im done.
