Rough water ride is very subjective to what youre calling rough water, how fast youre talking about running rough water, and a drivers skills. An Eyra handles rough water very well and will ride very well in rough water, but is it as good as a Puma FTD/Cougar FTD? Im sure there are situations that it might as it can be more responsive to driver input than a larger boat. In most cases all things considered, I dont believe so. Same can be said comparing FTDs to a Jaguar. There are situations that Id rather be in a Puma FTD than a Jaguar. However, this is due to my extensive experience in an FTD than a Jag. I also believe that if were talking about rough water ride in all characteristics, wed all come to the consensus that the Jag is the best, then Puma/Cougar hulls, then the Eyra. The new Lynx will probably find its ranking just after the Jag. Dry ride…All Bass Cat boats have a dry ride. Period!
