Having to quit fishing would be a bummer. We can fish all winter in Arkansas, if we bundle up and want to. There are those at the shop that fish 12 months and enjoy the fall through December time the most. After January 1 we revert to the small jig and grub deep fishing till February breaks in. Then we can bubba fish again.

Ya Steffan is a great guy, you got a super boat, he really didnt want to sell it. I passed you when you were pulling the boat back to Mass on Route 9. It brought a tear to my eye as well.

Rybass, It is a small world!! I am the one who posted his (Steffens) boat on here for him to help sell it! Mainecat, Steffen and I all fish in the same club up here in “Downeast” Maine. He is a nice guy….we all are up in this “neck of the woods” The 3 of us all love BCBs

I do love the boat also. The propshaft snapped this summer. I had to replace the lower unit. That was not the best day. Other than that it has been great. I am working on getting the correct prop. Did Steffan ever try your fury?

I feel your pain btgibson. Im having my boat winterized next week.Do you keep your boat outside? If so do you have it shrink-wrapped? Last year I put a big heavy duty tarp over my cover. The tarp covered the boat and trailer. It seemed to work well.

Rybass, Steffen did not get to try my 26 Fury but I bet it would be a good one for you to try on your set up!!NJbass, I put boat in my dads garage for the winter with Deans cover on it so it wont get too dusty

NJ, Im in upstate NY and store mine outside. I put a plastic tarp over the Aurora cover for extra protection. Make sure to put moth balls or drier sheets on deck and in compartments to keep the mice out. I had one mouse find its way into the motor this fall even before I had it winterized. Merc dealer had to take intake apart and clean it all out. $80 freaking mouse nest. I put moth balls under the cowling too. I want to cover the trailer tires soon to keep sun off them so the last longer. Sun is a killer for sidewalls.
