You will open up the pvs to add ventilation when you add the ring. Mine went from 4 small plugs w/o ring and had to remove two plugs when I added the ring. I had same motor&prop but 2003 ftd cougar. Also- make sure you clean all the weed stems out from behind the prop before you start adjusting pvs plugs.Last edited by smbassman on July 13th, 2012, 2:34 am, edited 1 time in total.
