I am thinking about installing the Equalizers on my Motorguide Mount. I was wondering if anyone else has “been there-done that” and would care to share your experience with the performance of this item? Ive seen You Tube video where they pull up the trolling motor with a scale to measure pounds before and after installation and it looks like it does work as advertised. I also would like to know if it is necessary to remove the trolling motor mount to install the Equalizers? Thanks in advance, JimEveryone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
I installed the equalizers on my tour edition, i can tell a difference after the install. I didnt remove the mount and the install wasnt difficult. Follow the instructions provided and you shouldnt have any problems. Matt
Thanks for the information guys. Im definitely going to do the install too. Looks to be a smart way to spend a little $$.Getting a little older now and the old back just isnt what it used to be. This ought to help.Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

I have them on my 80 tour, they work great. Didnt have to remove the mount to install, installation pretty simple comes with a template that shows you where to drill holes. Im also in the Prairieville area.
