BCB, I just watched the video on this & wow! The attention to detail on all facets bow to stern is well done & should be a big seller. I have a 07 Sabre, is the new model 3″ narrower? is that why 150 max? Doesnt much matter just asking. Again well Done!

I believe the 2017 Sabre will be on the FTD hull and deck configuration. The Vision will be limited to 150, the Advantage 175. Mostly due to cost control. I dont know this for a fact, but from what I have read its seems to be the deal. The base style Sabre with the hand bar by the driver area wont be in production as of 2017.

That is the reason is to control cost and market separation between upper and lower equipped series. The other factor is buyers remorse when one loads up a Vision group and gets close to the Advantage in price. We have seen buyers remorse on satisfaction several times with this move and we always protect against that. If you have a short garage, no storage and need a loaded up 18 model then go for it! If not then let your conscience and pocketbook guide you.

Is it 3″ narrower? or just trim up the back gunnel thickness?

The older new were 92″ and we think newer models are 93″.

BCB, other than the HP rating, what are the major differences between the Vision and Advantage packages?

I could be wrong but if I recall correctly. 3 inch instead of 4 inch trailer, smaller bilge pumps, different graphs, different live well setup, and there is some more I cant remember right off I believe. Hope that helps and Bass Cat can correct me of Im off and add what I missed.

So I guess Ill ask BCB in another way. I have an 07 Sabre it has a 93″ beam as they all have until this year as you are advertising 90″ did you change the mold or how/where did you trim 3″ off of the 2017 models?

Ahh! Thats a typo on the new web page and came from the Margay info that is 90″. The Sabre models are still 93″.
