My 2015 Pantera II was giving me a little problems today. Got on the water before sun up this morning. I plugged in the anchor and navigation lights (first time) once I turned them on it sounded like bacon frying in the touch pad and lights were on and off. I just waited for sun up to head out, just to be safe. The livewell control under the main switch at console felt like it was stuck. Definitely not operating like it always had before. Is there some way to adjust this? Lube it? Etc?? Thanks!Dan
Sorry your having issues this AM. The controller usually works smoothly other than the decent position on the livewell twist handle. We think it might be the cable loosening on the valve and the cable slipped, which means it wont work properly. On the dash and assembly the touch pad obviously could have moisture with cooler weather and it seems humidity is trapped inside the sealed touch pad. If it works as it should after today we suspect moisture, if not then we suspect the A10 might need a warranty.
How do I go about checking my live well cable and adjusting or tightening what is needed? Every thing but lights seemed to work flawless on the touch pad today. Is that normal for a problem to show up in one area? Thanks for your quick response BCB!Dan
Yes, moisture develops where it seems to funnel and usually its the bilge switch. The livewell cable is going to show while twisting the handle and the cable will be seen watching the rear sump area, or checking its position in each direction of throw. Turn it forward and check cable location in the valve clamp bracket, twist it rearwards and look again. You will notice the jacket has moved under the clamp, the cable wont slide in and out of it. Some are plastic cable clamps, and some are metal set in plastic. Either way the plastic moves some and allows it to slip.

It seems like having trouble after 8 to 10 trips on the water is pretty quick but I know S*** Happens.Dan
If you can, have someone twist it while you are back there watching. It will be easier to see what its doing.

And if you find out its a cable or valve problem, you can contact your dealer or Flow-Rite. I contacted Flow-Rite, it may have been after the Bass Cat warranty expired, the guy I talked to sent a cable and a new valve at no charge. They were very responsive and customer-oriented.
Im not sure about my 2013 but in my 88 model I would take the valve apart clean it and put vaseline on the little flaps on the inside. The newer models you may not be able to do this. DAN u being a perch jerker as myself fish scales some how make it past the filter and mess it up. Ive removed little rocks, little pieces of straw and etc. These day I always wipe the livewell out after each use removing all crappie scales. Kinda funny how the little scales somehow lay flat and pass right thru the filter. Yours being new probally has lost its adjustment as BCB has suggested .2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
