Whats the maximum size jackplate that can be used on a 2015 Cougar without losing warranty?
Im pretty sure it is 8″.http://www.basscat.com/warranty.html
I believe I read BassCat has tested several sizes and figured out there were no performance increases over 8″ setback at least with their boats .
I read the same thing Scuba on this message board. But then again, that was posted by BCB.
8″ is the max and it also has a special transom bolt pattern. If youre planning on buying one you would best be served by purchasing through bcb.
