Trailer upgrade question

I have a 2000 trailer for a Cougar, it has drum brakes. it also has a fold-away tougue.I would like to switch to disc brakes, can you order a new tougue with disc brakes master cylinder assembly, or is the best option to cut off the old and replace with a new disc brake assembly?Thanks

If it were us we would bolt a new caliper rotor to the spindle and backplate. We also would give the Attwood Mobile coupler a shot as they develop more pressure than the disc style. You will need a backup solenoid in line. If the coupler is too forceful then replace it and try to save a few bucks. Its worth a shot!
