Question for anyone that have driven both. The difference between the 2015 and 2016 caracal performance wise? With the fuel tanks moved from the belly of the boat to the rear. Top end hole shot. Did it make much of a difference in the ride of the boat. Been looking at some of the left over 2015s and just wanted to know is there is much difference.

The boat is built in either model and design based on your preference. The river anglers would like the center tanks more for a leveler stance and shallower draft, while those desiring less bow weight would like the rear tank design. Take your pick! BCB
I have a 2016 with the rear storage tanks, and test drove a 2015 with belly tanks. The belly tank seemed to have gotten on plane a bit quicker…Mine with the rear tanks…man, this thing MOVES!
I would be curious what the speed difference is as well. I have a Puma (non FTD) and do enjoy the belly tank for its shallow draft. I like everything about this new boat. Im a ways off from getting a new boat…..but I think this will be the one when that time comes.
