Trying a 25 P HiFive

Currently running a 24 P Trophy on my Pantera Classic 03. With 200 Options. Going to try a 25 Hi Five. Any ideas if I may need to raise or lower the motor to optimize the set up? Does the hi five generally run about the same height as the Trophy? Thanks!

Curious as to why a Hi Five? Better hole shot but youre going up on pitch so that may cancel out. Slower top end speed than a Trophy. I doubt a handful of people here have actually tried a Hi five prop. Try and out and adjust as needed on the engine height.

The High Five is a great propeller for family use, big water operation and hole shot. A very stable platform.

In regards to the high five,I will switch between a 4 blade 25p trophy and high five 25p depending on the wave forecast.if the waves are 2 feet or less,Ill stick with the trophy.you will lose quite a bit of top end with the high five.but if the waves are going to be big-i much prefer the high five.the five blade is fantastic for holeshot,and for keeping the nose up,and “tip-toeing” through the roughest water.i run around 70 with the trophy,and around 50 with the high five.the p4 is way more nimble with the high five,and WOT is a rarity on Erie/St.Clair.hope I could help.i might try and find out what prop Kevin Short runs on the Great Lakes,I think its a blue printed bravo? I think it is the best of both worlds-but I could be mistaking.

Looking to gain some low end performance when pulling kids on knee boards & tubing. Fish a lot of shallow backwater rivers and looking for quicker hole shot and nimble handling in backwater sloughs. Besides, Hi Fives are odd number pitch props and it was either a 23 or 25 pitch.

Had a High 5 on a PIV.As mentioned you will get a super hole shot, plane at about 15 mph, but redline at about 40 mph.If you use one, watch the tachjwt

We have all here said again and again that a P4 hull is its own animal. It should not overtach on most any other BCB.

I had a Hi Five on an old Ranger for pulling a tube around with the kids. Worked great for that but thats all I used it for

I ran one for years on my old 85 phelix with a 75 mariner, and it would shoot out of the hole. The man who owns it now is still I believe running that prop.
