I just gotta say that BCB owners are the best. The girlfriend and I fished a tournament Saturday at lake Shelbyville in Illinois. Lets just start this story off by saying that my girlfriend isnt my normal partner for fishing tournaments let alone helping with launching/loading the boat. We got to the parking lot to get registered and what not and parked next to the only other cat there, a beautiful 15 Puma FTD. While I was getting registered, Jena was back at the boat loading everything up and getting it all ready to go. She started talking to the guys, Greg and Travis. As I was walking back up the two of them looked at me asked what her specialty was, backing the truck in or taking the boat off the trailer…. I responded quickly with neither. LOL. They both laughed and offered to back the truck up for me. Let me just tell you, that made things so much smoother and quicker than my original plan of me backing the truck down, hopping in the boat and letting her take the truck back up to the lot. I wish I could say the fishing went well… but it really didnt. Got on a little school of fish that lasted about 5 minutes. Jena ended up catching the only keeper we put in the boat. When it came time to put the boat back on trailer we were just going to wait til everyone else got there boats out and then load up. Greg then motored over and asked us if we wanted help again and I accepted his offer. I cant thank them enough. It just made the day better and took the pressure off the girlfriend and thats always a good thing. But I think its time to start teaching her how to back the truck up.Dan Yonan. ———————————————————
