Yes, those are non structural flex joints that allow flex to not be too hard on live wells, corners and radiuses. They absorb flex and break when run on rough water. A 2002 is fine with lower cracks in the glass as those are a designed flex joint. The flex joints are where a vertical wall meets the floor section.They are different on newer boats and are moved around to a little different areas. They have more fiberglass and its done differently in that area, and the flex joint is more difficult to break. They liked the thinner joint at the factory because they leered more from the separation, though lots of these questions started cropping up and a decision was made to change those methods. The OP was accurate in the first portion of this reply and while the P3 was some time back there is nothing different in the post we modified. You dont have a major issue and it could be restored by sanding and fiberglassing that area. The benefit would be minimal other than knowing if the joint is moving as it will break again.
