I fish Lake St Clair and Lake Erie and am in search of the best bounce protection for my 112 Foretrex on my 2014 Puma FTD. On my past boats I have always used the TH Marine Troll Tamer which would be perfect but I only have 1 1/2 inches between my deck and my trolling motor. The standard bounce buster on my minnkota will not work. Any suggestions????

Check out the Fortexx trol-loc by RMC Boatworks..it goes where the normal rod goes on the Fortrexx but also has a lock down to the deck..i have one on my 101 on my Cougar and it works great..

I use a short ram mount under the head of the trolling motor and the base screwed into the floor

These suggestions all keep the head from bouncing, but what keeps the foot from bouncing?
