Gatorbak bunks

BCB, I most definitely would like to get these bunks changed out on my trailer. I sent Richard a e-mail regarding the same and offered to come down for the swap. Have not heard form him yet. I just ordered a new boat and requested carpet instead of gatorbak, dealer said it shouldnt be an issue. He said BCB went to these in part because of some species of mussel that was becoming a problem in some parts of the country. Aparently they can attach to the carpet and there is enough moisture for them to stay alive for some time, they can then be transferred to other lakes and rivers.

The invasive species are quagga and zebra mussels. Unlike LOZ we have a problem in ore areas of the country and the deeper cooler reservoirs dont heat regulate their growth like the river systems seem to have done in areas.
