I know the PPG color and code but cant seem to find where I can purchase a spray can. Anyone had this problem or have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Where did you get the code and color information? With that information I think you could go to a PPG automotive store and they could provide you with a spray can for touch up.
agree with above- I have even gotten a 2 part clear coat aircraft sealant in an aerosol can from PPG store here for my trailer. cant imagine that any color BCB uses cant be put in a can at a full service PPG store? What did guys at store tell you? Did they tell you they couldnt put it in an aerosol for you? C.O.D. Jr. III
I got the color and code info from BCB but didnt ask as I didnt think they would have a spray can. PPG told me that I would have to buy a quart for $59 and them pay $13 a can X 7 cans that the quart makes….lol. I dont think soi guess my next call will be to the parts department again
Theyre charging for the minimum mix rate. We can help out thugh most paint stores do operate more. There are also some paint colors BCB uses that can be in the $750 a gallon cost range for retail customers at a PPG store.
BCB does offer the paint. I found a place in Cali that will mix a spray can for along with a can of clear coat for around $40 shipped 2nd day air. Thanks though guys & BCB
