I have a HDS Gen 2 touch 7 at the console and an elite 7 hdi at the bow. If I am wanting to share waypoints between the two units does anyone know what all I will need to complete that task? Does this link have everything I would need or would it be something else? Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the correction!!maybe the hdi dnt have the ethernet connection. Take ur time feed it with a fish tape .on my p2 . Theres a opening from Dash to rod box. Feed up thru the box. Take cover off where trolling motor plug is . RazorHog, you dont need the NMEA, it is only for GPS or other external devices. What you need to connect units to share way points is the ethernet cable. I just did this about 2 months ago on mine. Heres the link for what you need. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Lowrance … LFTEC.htmlGood luck!
jjstroz, did you use that ethernet cable to connect to an elite 7 hdi? The reason I ask is because I dont think my elite 7 has a plug for a ethernet cable on the back. I think it just has 3 plugs, one for sonar, one for power, and one for NMEA.
