How hard is it to remove my hds 10 in the console of My new jag? Bcb did not record my serial# now i have a bad row of pixels, and Lowrance wont start the warranty without this #. This one pisses me off, I dont want to drive 90 miles to my bcb dealer to have them do it. how hard is this guys?Added By BCB: On newer boats the serial number cut off the box is placed inside the black satchels on most boats, with the paperwork. If you have your boxes the graphs came in the S/N should be on the side of the box!! I wouldnt want to drive 90 miles either!!

If you can get your camera phone behind the unit in the console you can take a picture of it.i think it is one of the back bottom cornersi have a 898 on my P2 and thats what I was able to do

they put the serial # on the front of the unit in the middle just behind the crown of the unit. so my unit needs to be pushed forward until the # are visible and then slid back until flush again. No boxes for graphs just the side imaging box. Im trying to understand how a boat dealer can order the top of the line model basscat or any boat for that matter and not have such important info for the buyer when taking delivery. Now i know after 1000 miles I dont have #s on paperwork. some buddy did put the # for the tm on its card, when I asked the dealer they dropped the blame on bcb

You should be able to go into the menu and scroll through the system to get the serial number

What unit do you have in dash, touch, gen 1, gen 2?? First, save setup to card. Second, take Zanax before dealing with Lowrance customer service people. Third, accept the fact you are gonna fish for over 2 weeks (probably 3) with big ugly hole in your dash and Lowrance doesnt give a squat.

HDS 10s were available till late March. And even now they creep into the system occasionally as stock items. The factory (BCB) also had stock on the 10s June 1st.BCB

Mine came with the cardboard cutouts in the information packets.
