Trailer fender replacement questions ?

1.Had a blowout yesterday that took out fender.I have looked up the fender cost on website but was wondering what the shipping cost might be.2. Who should I take this to for repair3.Is it a doable repair for an average mechanically inclined individual4.Is it worth claiming on insurance with a 250.00 deductible

If you want BC opinion on repair, youll probably want to take some pics and email to the factory. The shipping will be pricey due to size, but there is a slight possiblility that it could be sent to your dealer when they bring a boat. Where are you located, that may help them as well? # 3. Is it a doable repair for an average mechanically inclined individual?After having removed one myself, I would say so. Few bolts, a bit of electrical, some adhesive. It is actually pretty easy and if you run into something your not sure about, you have a wealth of knowledge here from other owners and from the manufacturer. I think very doable.

Yes u can. Need clamps and wood to get adhesive on the step areas nicely. Other issue will be getting your hands on some uroflex. Gonna need to let bcb sell you some. Stuff is hard to find otherwise.C.O.D. Jr. III

I replaced one on my trailer myself. It wasnt too hard. Get the adhesive from BCB.

I have a new tandem axel left side fender for a 2006 that you can have if you can get to dfw area. Not willing to fool with shippingColor is coraljwthomas

Its not hard at all. I did it by myself but it would have been easier with someone to help. Shipping is much more reasonable if you can pick it up at a dealer.

I replaced a fender on my trailer. It is pretty easy and Basscat sent a tube of adhesive with mt fender. I think shipping was around$100 but dont remember for sure.

Mine just broke a couple weeks ago….no idea what happened. Got home and realized it had a huge crack in it with with fiberglass hanging out. Duct tape for now! I figure when I replace it I will do both sides, the other isnt perfect.
