Topic: Question on Caracal Storage Length

Im considering a Caracal. My 12 PII is 191 and has storage length requirement of 217 noted on the boat stats page. Fits in the garage nicely. The Caracal is 198 and has storage length requirement of 23 on site. Seven more inches of boat equates to 17 more inches of required storage length?I have a very wide 3 car garage but Im not sure is could accommodate 23 even on an angle without taking up a second parking spot.

yea.. you will have to put it on an angle and use the break away tongue to get it in there.. the way the Caracal is built and the way the trailer is built to accommodate for the boat… just the way it is…

We believe the storage lengths may be inaccurate and we have not validated measurements that were used.

The storage measurement on the Sabre is inaccurate and needs to be confirmed as well. A lot of guys rely on those measurements. Especially 1st time buyers of a particular model.Dan

My garage is 222″ and I put a 20 Puma straight in with room to spare.

^^^ Im gonna need a picture of that. My garage is 21 3″ wall to door. The sabre SQUEEKS in with the motor down & turned to one side, and the tongue swung open. Have about 2″ to spare on each end.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

Im particularly interested in the Caracal/Merc combo. Thanks. I guess if it does not fit for me I possibly can knock a hole through my back garage wall drywall and into the laundry room, but the wife might frown upon that, as well as the boat taking up her parking spot in the garage…
