Me and some pals went about 3 weeks ago before snowmageddon and had a decent trip. Going back in a week for redemption. We figure the fish are about ready to pop with an upcoming week of weather in 60s and daylight savings time. Anyone heard anything or even been. Any ideas of color or temps? Thanks, Bryan.

Tuesday I was seeing 49-51 degrees after a day of sun. This afternoon I was in 56-58, BUT we are predicted for rain nearly every day this next week. The water level had gotten above 170 but they turned on a generator 24 hours a day and have the water going back down. Even with temps up and down, rains, sleet, snow….there are still 10+ pounders being caught pretty regular. Hopefully they will cooperate. Its gonna be rainy, but in the 60s all week. They oughta be about ready to pop. If you see a maroon P4 around say Hi. Bryan.

I hope the weather stays warm for you guys. Good luck and stay safe. Please give us a report when you get back. I am headed up there in two weeks with my club for a week of fishing in the mid-lake area. I envy Toledobasser, living on the lake!Jeff

We went this weekend. Bro in law caught a 6.2lber and an 8.02lber fri pm…..Saturday was slow with a few keepers and some short fish. tourney on 14th and hopin warming trend will popem loose….its got to happen soon….those giguns were FAT! And congrats to him on his personal best!

gonna be busy that weekend. I cant remember, but either the LA Oilman or TX oilman or basschamps or some tourny will be there that weekend, but thats the way it is this time of year. Well probably be 1215, blue lake area, but well see. Report to come.

Keep the reports coming. Were headed there in a week for 7days or so. Fishing the Indian Mounds area.

We have been on the lake a lot lately. All I can say is keep plugging with the trap. One day they love the 3/4 the next the 1/2. We have had good luck on MG48, Rayburn Red, Toledo Gold as far as reds and some days the new colors like shell cracker have been awsome.

I fished small 25-man tournament there last weekend out of San Miguel. 18 pounds won, a couple of people had 16 pounds, then the weights dropped off after that. I had the big bass of the tourney (7.50). Top three stringers were caught on a jig (including my big bass). Most were caught shallow (3-10 ft).Good luck!

Thanks guys, keep it coming! I will spend most of my time in 1215 as well so thanks.I will throw the trap a good bit and will pitch a jig in those bushes if they have some water on them. I will wacky em up a good bit too!Jeff
