Well after lots of time and a new prop and a 100hr super service i am pleasantly surprised my sweetie is now again an 80+ mph boat even with the added gorrilla hull application. Hit 80.4mph today with all my gear and 3/4 tank, perch gear and a 48qt icechest with 30 nice sac au lait. Nice to have her rollin again!!!

I know we talked about it Saturday, but Im Dow. To 74 running loaded with 2 people. Was running 77 with the same load last year. Hopefully shaving it will help.

I was wondering how your hull came out? Did it take much to get your numbers back?

took it back to him once for a little tweak but ultimately had to go back to a stock 27T1 as opposed to the one I had turned by Ronnie before it went on. its.still 1-1.5 slower givin what I know she could do before but im happy now. Motor able to turn it 6000+ if i want her to and she rides great so its all good.

I am still playing with my 01 PIII that I had a Gorilla hull put on a couple of years ago, but with the same 26 Tempest I used to run it is about 1 mph slower at about 71-72 vs 72-73 mph with me, full fuel tanks, and a small tackle store. I will be trying a 25 Fury next week now that my Jack plate can be adjusted (the adjustment screw was frozen from lack of use) to see how it shapes up.
